Danielle Gardea, MS, LPC
Danielle received her Bachelors of Art in Psychology from Texas Woman's University and her Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy and Counseling Psychology from Our Lady of the Lake University. During her combined 7 years of trained and post-graduate experience, Danielle has provided services to at-risk populations, residential placement, college students, and adults addressing symptoms of depression, anxiety, difficulty adjusting with change, relationship issues, school difficulties, and families considering or experience divorce. If you are a client who is ready to work and looking for change in a short amount of time, Danielle is trained in Solution Focused Therapy and will focus on the here and now, recognizing your current strengths and resources as well as assist you in building on your coping skills. For circumstances that may require more time understanding yourself, situation, or time to process or grieve, Danielle enjoys to incorporate mindfulness, self regulation and art into the processing experience. She enjoys to provide assistance for families who may be experiencing difficulties communicating, getting along, or who may be troubled with new or old events that have caused a strain on the environment at home. He approach involves getting to know you as a family, how you work, and increase your ability to work together as a team.
