Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy prepares and enables children with physical, sensory, cognitive, and developmental needs to live their lives as independently as possible. We consider children's main occupations play, self-care, and learning. Your child will be evaluated in these areas by a licensed Occupational Therapist through standardized testing, skilled observation, and caregiver/family interview. Based upon the evaluation, your Occupational Therapist will create an individualized plan of care with treatment goals focused upon the needs of your child and your family. Treatment will be play-based, one-on-one, and administered by a highly skilled, licensed Occupational Therapist. We strive to find the "just right challenge" during treatment which will challenge your child enough to grow his or her skills while still allowing him/her to be successful so we can best help your child reach his or her full potential.
